Audit Log

Navigate to Audit Log


1. Go to ‘Manage your apps’  

 

2. Go to ‘Extended Schemes’ menu item

3. Go to ‘Audit Log’ in ‘Docs, Support, Export & Import’

4. A list of Audit Log entries will appear

Date: Indicates when the log was created.

Author: Specifies who initiated the change. This information is inferred from the out-of-the-box Jira audit log if, within 5 minutes prior to the change in Priority or Resolution, an audit log entry was created by a user. If this information is not available or the last change has been performed by Jira then author is Unknown.

Event Category: Displays the type of recorded action.

Change Summary: Provides a brief description of the change.

On each Audit Log page, the latest 50 entries are displayed. You can navigate between pages using the navigation bars located above and below the table.

Showing Audit Log entry details


1. Press ‘Show more’ in ‘Actions’ column

2. The Audit Log entry details will appear

  • Operation Details – Contains additional information about the change. Text in black provides context-specific details.

  • Green Background – Indicates the new value.

  • Red Background – Indicates the old value.

  • Associated Item – Provides a URL to the related item if the item exist.

Refreshing Audit Log


1. Press reload Button in the header

The newest logs will appear.

 

Changing Retention period


1. Go to ‘Actions’ menu and choose ‘Audit Log Settings’

2. The modal dialog will appear

3. Select the preferred ‘Retention period’ and ‘Save’ the changes

If the selected retention period is shorter than the previous period, the logs exceeding the selected time will be deleted.
